Why Scottsdale homeowners call us first
Scottsdale plumbing is not generic plumbing. City water here runs roughly 12–18 grains per gallon of hardness, and that mineral load is the single biggest reason local homes need a plumber. Scale builds inside water heater tanks, shortens element and anode life, crusts faucet aerators and cartridges, and slowly narrows the inside diameter of supply lines. A water heater that should last 10–12 years often fails at 7–8 in the 85254 and 85255 ZIPs if it was never flushed.
Housing stock matters too. Homes south of Indian Bend built in the 1960s and 70s frequently still have galvanized branch lines and cast iron drains that need hydrojetting rather than a cable. Newer North Scottsdale and DC Ranch construction is mostly PEX and copper on slab — which is why we invest in electronic leak detection instead of guessing and cutting concrete. Older Old Town and Arcadia-adjacent properties often need pressure regulators replaced because static street pressure runs above 80 psi.
